Mental Health Awareness Month: Resources and Support

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and at BHC, we want you to know: you're not alone, and help is available.

Mental health services at BHC include:

  • Individual counseling for depression, anxiety, stress
  • Family therapy and relationship counseling
  • Substance use support and recovery resources
  • Crisis intervention
  • Case management and community referrals

You don't need a referral. Just call any BHC clinic to schedule a confidential appointment with one of our licensed counselors.

5 signs it might be time to talk to someone:

  1. Feeling sad, anxious, or overwhelmed most days
  2. Changes in sleep, appetite, or energy levels
  3. Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
  4. Withdrawing from friends, family, or activities you used to enjoy
  5. Thoughts of harming yourself or others

Crisis resources:

  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988 (24/7)
  • SAMHSA National Helpline: 1-800-662-4357 (free, confidential, 24/7)
  • Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741

Mental health is health. There's no shame in asking for support—it's one of the bravest things you can do.
